Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Serve food to residents, staff, and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and a friendly attitude
Maintain cleanliness in all food preparation and service areas by cleaning counters, utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment regularly
Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist with inventory management by receiving deliveries, storing supplies properly, and monitoring stock levels
Support meal planning and portioning to meet dietary needs and preferences of residents or clients




Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy hours while managing time effectively

Skills
Prior experience in the food industry is highly desirable
Robust knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Good understanding of sanitation practices, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety protocols
Effective time management skills to ensure timely meal delivery and adherence to schedules
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift supplies, and perform cleaning duties as needed
