Out-of-School Care (OOSC) Educator – Elementary School
We are looking for a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic OOSC Educator to join our team at an elementary school-based Out-of-School Care program.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with school-age children, creating a positive and engaging setting, and planning fun and age-appropriate activities for children.
Position Responsibilities
Supervise and care for elementary school-aged children in a safe, positive, and welcoming environment
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, arts and crafts, and other engaging programs
Build positive relationships with children and support their social and emotional development
Assist children with daily routines and transitions
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure program environment
Communicate respectfully and professionally with parents, guardians, and other staff
Follow all centre policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with other educators and contribute to a positive team environment
Program Hours
School Days: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Pro-D Days & School Breaks: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
Responsible Adult, ECEA, or ECE qualification
Valid First Aid Certificate
Previous experience working with children is required; experience with school-age children is an asset

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
