BBA is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Vancouver to lead projects in energy, mining, and industrial sectors. Drive project execution from design to commissioning while mentoring junior engineers.
In this regular position, you will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project deliverables. Your role will encompass engineering design, site inspections, and managing project timelines and budgets. Experience in project leadership is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead projects in conceptual and operational phases • Prepare and review engineering design packages • Perform site inspections and testing locally and abroad • Manage project work packages and track deliverables • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar • 20+ years of relevant project experience • Registered Engineer in BC or eligible for registration • Valid class 5 BC driver’s license • Excellent English communication skills
