Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food with care, maintaining proper food safety and hygiene practices throughout all stages of meal preparation.
Assist in food presentation, garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal before serving.
Support the food service team by serving meals efficiently and courteously to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations.
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations to prevent contamination or accidents.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen workflow.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food industry setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, skilled attitude towards guests.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and techniques used in skilled cooking environments.
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy service hours.
Prior restaurant experience is highly valued for understanding fast-paced culinary operations.
