Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly.
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing dishwashing duties.
Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to promote a secure working workplace.
Restock supplies such as soap, sanitizer, and cleaning materials as needed.
Skills
No previous experience required.
Cantonese and Mandarin speaking is an asset
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food service workflows.
Solid attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene compliance.
Good physical stamina for standing long hours and lifting heavy loads.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team.
