Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials, products, and supplies throughout the warehouse or production facility. Ensures materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining inventory records and following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and products.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for shipment or production.
Store materials in designated locations and maintain an organized warehouse.
Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
Verify quantities, part numbers, and shipping/receiving documentation.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, where authorized.
Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records using computer systems or scanners.
Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and report discrepancies to supervisors.




Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including proper lifting and material-handling practices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with other warehouse and material-handling duties as required.

Qualifications
Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valuable attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer and inventory-system skills.
Forklift certification or experience is a mandatory requirement
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and workplace safety procedures.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to regularly lift and move materials of varying weights.
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing workplace and safely operate material-handling equipment.
