Budget Car & Truck Rental is looking for a Shop Hand that will assist us with the following duties:
Perform oil changes and tire changes as needed under manager/team member’s direction and supervision
Detailing vehicles (vacuum, washing interior and exterior)
Vehicle movement from auction, locations, etc. as needed under the direction of Shop Manager or Senior Management when needed
Basic maintenance around CSC as directed by the Shop Manager (example: driving the snow plow and snow removal around the CSC Admin building, lawn maintenance, etc.)
Assisting the Shop staff as well as Shop Manager with ad hoc projects throughout the year
Any other duties as assigned by the Shop Manager/Senior Management
Teamwork Responsibilities:
Maintain a neat and organized work area.
Report unsafe equipment or hazardous spills.

Maintain adequate supplies at workstations.
Quick learner; follows directions adequately.
General
Understand and demonstrate competency in the policies and procedures as it applies to your position.
Meet company requirements for attendance and punctuality.
Maintain an acceptable Alberta driver’s license and driving record (no more than 3 demerits) and clean criminal record.
Observe all traffic and secure driving rules when driving vehicles.
Demonstrate ability to drive a variety of vehicles.
May need to lift up to 50 lbs. Some bending required.
Long periods of standing and walking required.
