Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care. Knowledge of Dentrix, Orthodontics, and Pediatric dentistry is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse patient community. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing procedures to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
Assist in identifying oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or other dental management software
Support the dental team during procedures and patient examinations
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Assist with sterilization of instruments and maintaining a clean, organized treatment area
Stay updated on the latest dental practices, medical terminology, and industry standards
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Experience with Abeldent or similar dental office management software preferred
Knowledge of Orthodontics, Pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures beneficial
Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
Ability to work well within a team environment and support collaborative patient care efforts

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
