Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, including supply chain coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role will require LTL experience, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Duties
Planning and managing available equipment and drivers.
Identifying issues and concerns of drivers, and resolving them in a timely manner.
Actively track and trace the movement of customer freight and proactively communicate with the customers.
Proactively communicate delays, breakdowns, road closures, etc. to customers, shippers, receivers. Effectively adjust operating plans to accommodate such circumstances.
Communicate and coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with shippers, receivers and drivers.
Skills
Minimum of 2 years of Transportation Experience required.
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Exceptional negotiation, decision making and organizational skills
Solid customer service and relationship-building skills
The ability to thrive in a quick-pace, deadline-oriented environment
The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with excellent problem solving skills, who also can work as a team
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
