Our Client is seeking a Client Design & Sales Coordinator to help guide prospective clients from their initial inquiry through early design, estimating, and proposal development.
This is a developmental, client-facing role for someone with education or experience in architectural technology, architecture, interior design, drafting, construction design, or a related field. The position combines design knowledge, customer communication, sales, estimating, and project coordination, with room to grow into greater responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to prospective clients and guide them through the early sales process.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand project goals, scope, budget, timeline, and design preferences.
Gather and organize measurements, drawings, photographs, finish selections, and other project information.
Maintain accurate client records, follow-ups, and next steps in the company CRM.
Coordinate information between clients, estimating, design, suppliers, trades, and operations.
Assist with scopes of work, preliminary estimates, proposals, and client presentations.
Explain technical and design information clearly to clients.
Track open opportunities and help keep the sales process moving.
Training and Development
The successful candidate will receive structured onboarding and supervised workplace training. As they develop, training will include:
Reading plans, elevations, specifications, and construction details.
Basic quantity takeoffs and preliminary estimating.
Easy layouts, design requirements, and renderings.
Millwork, cabinetry, finish-carpentry, and renovation-product knowledge.
Consultative sales and proposal presentation.
Managing smaller client opportunities.
Supporting project coordination and handoff to operations.
Qualifications
Education or relevant experience in architectural technology, architecture, interior design, drafting, construction design, or a related field.
Solid communication, organization, and follow-through.
Comfortable speaking with clients and asking detailed discovery questions.
Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical information.
Familiarity with drawings, plans, design software, estimating, CRM systems, or construction is an asset.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
