Luxury Sales Associate (Full & Part Time)

For over 40 years, Shops at the Empress has been Victoria's destination for luxury fashion.

From our boutiques inside the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel, we curate a distinctive assortment of designer pieces you won't find everywhere — serving loyal local clients and visitors from around the world.

We're looking for full-time and part-time team members who take pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.

What we offer
Starting wage of $19/hour, plus monetary bonuses following the probationary period

Your role
Welcome every client with warmth and professionalism
Build lasting relationships through attentive, knowledgeable service
Guide clients through our collections with thoughtful styling advice
Process transactions accurately at point of sale
Maintain an immaculate boutique presentation,



including merchandising and displays
Support inventory management, restocking, and shelving
Partner with the team to achieve shared sales goals

What you bring
A genuine passion for fashion, people, and exceptional service
Polished communication skills and a skilled presence
Strong organization and time management
Comfort with cash handling and basic math

Previous retail experience is preferred — but not required. We'll train you.

This role involves standing for extended periods and occasional lifting.
