About Danish Pastry House

Danish Pastry House brings authentic Danish baking and café culture to our customers through handcrafted pastries, breads, cakes, coffee, and specialty products.

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Baristas / Café Team Members to join our team at CF Sherway Gardens.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide friendly, productive service
Prepare coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other drinks
Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system
Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
Serve and package pastries, baked goods, and other food items
Assist customers with questions about products and menu items
Maintain attractive and well-stocked displays
Restock products and supplies throughout the shift
Maintain clean counters, equipment, customer areas, and workstations
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health and safety procedures
Complete opening and closing duties as required
Support the team during busy periods
Provide a welcoming and positive experience for every customer

Qualifications




Previous barista, café, bakery, restaurant, QSR, or food-service experience is preferred
Experience preparing espresso-based beverages is an asset
Strong customer-service and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to learn quickly and follow recipes and procedures
Food Handler Certification is an asset

Availability

Candidates should have adaptable availability, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
