Overview
CoMi Pet Grooming is a grooming salon in the heart of Stouffville, dedicated to providing high-quality, gentle, and professional grooming services. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and the skills to deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of every pet. Duties
Bathe, dry, brush, and style pets according to breed standards or owner requests
Trim nails, clean ears, and perform sanitary trims
Handle pets gently and safely, ensuring their comfort at all times
Communicate with pet owners about grooming preferences, coat condition, and special needs
Monitor pets for signs of stress, anxiety, or health issues during grooming
Clean and sanitize grooming tools and workstations regularly
Maintain appointment records and assist with scheduling when needed
Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive, professional salon atmosphere
Skills
Minimum 2 year of professional grooming experience (grooming school certificate is an asset)
Robust customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift pets as needed
Attention to detail to ensure safe, exact, and high-quality grooming results
Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor when working with animals
Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles preferred (training can be provided)
