We are currently looking for candidates to fill in for the following position: Resort, Kananaskis.
Responsibilities
Responding to security and enforcement-related incidents, emergencies and alarms
Be the lead enforcement resource for issues related to social disorder, trespassing and encampments.
Enforcing facility rules, municipal bylaws, and Provincial Statues
Conducting frequent mobile and foot patrols in assigned areas and facilities
Problem-solving through social development
Proactively provide businesses and the public with general assistance and exceptional customer service.
Exchanging criminal and confidential information with the RCMP and other applicable agencies
Position Requirements
Must be comfortable to work 8 hours shifts (night) and must be physically fit to work
Must be comfortable standing for an extended period if the job requires
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
Must be able to communicate fluently in English (written and oral)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must hold a valid Security License
Proven experience as a security officer
Helpful, courteous attitude
Must have a class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's record
Effective interpersonal skills, taking direction from a management team
Adaptable, reliable, punctual, and able to be contracted for last-minute work.
This position will require tactical and handcuff experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
