We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator skilled in Reach, Walkie, and Counterbalance forklifts to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing goods within the warehouse environment. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise in various forklift types will ensure protected and accurate handling of inventory, supporting seamless warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities
Operate reach trucks, walkie stackers, and counterbalance forklifts safely to transport materials across the warehouse
Perform order picking with precision using forklift equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance
Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as loading, unloading, and stacking goods in designated areas
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update stock records accurately
Support heavy lifting activities by handling bulky or heavy items with proper technique and equipment
Collaborate with team members to organize storage areas, optimize space utilization, and maintain a clean workspace
Skills
Proven experience operating various types of forklifts including reach trucks, walkie stackers, and counterbalance models
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance checks
Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order picking procedures
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and data entry
Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and consistently throughout shifts
Experience working with clamp trucks or other specialized material handling equipment is a plus
