Responsibilities
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings with precision and clarity.
Handle administrative duties such as filing documents, answering phones with skilled etiquette, and managing calendars for court dates or meetings.
Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as part of case preparation, documenting findings thoroughly.
Perform data entry and maintain meticulous records of case activities, court filings, and client information.
Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience in administrative roles within a legal setting or related field.
Fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English
Completion of Post-Secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Course
Computer and typing skills; and proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Pro, etc
Robust organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent proofreading and writing skills to produce clear, accurate legal documents.
The ability to work within tight timelines to meet deadlines, reassessing priorities as needed.
