Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Truck Driver Class 3 to join our team!

We are looking for an experience driver to safely deliver roof trusses and building materials to residential and commercial construction sites.

Duties
Safely operate Class 3 commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns
Assist with basic automotive repairs or maintenance as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and freight records for accountability and tracking purposes
Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to confirm schedules, routes, and delivery priorities
Follow all safety protocols during operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)



and adherence to company policies

Experience
Proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably with a Class 3 license or equivalent
Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair techniques
Solid understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards for commercial driving
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
