DoughBox Woodbridge is looking for a reliable and organized Prep Cook to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing all required ingredients and food items before service to ensure the restaurant is fully stocked and ready for the day.
Responsibilities
Prepare all food items according to the daily/weekly prep list.
Wash, cut, portion, weigh, and organize ingredients according to DoughBox standards.
Prepare sauces, toppings, proteins, vegetables, and other required items.
Ensure every item on the assigned prep list is completed before finishing the shift.
Label, date, rotate, and properly store all prepared food.
Monitor prep quantities and notify management when ingredients or supplies are running low.
Maintain a clean and organized prep station throughout the shift.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, counters, and prep areas after use.
Minimize food waste by following correct portions and prep procedures.
Assist with other kitchen preparation duties when required.
Requirements
Reliable and punctual, with availability for 9:00 AM shifts twice per week during the weekdays.
Comfortable working independently and completing a full prep list.
Solid organization and time-management skills.
Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
Previous kitchen or food-prep experience is preferred but not required.
Must follow all DoughBox food safety and cleanliness standards.
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure all items on the prep list are properly prepared, stocked, and ready for restaurant service.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
