Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
Support medication administration following established protocols to ensure safety and accuracy
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, fostering health and enjoyment
Engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being
Maintain a clean and secure environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces
Monitor residents’ health status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, employing patience and understanding
Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience in senior care or caregiving roles that involve supporting elderly or disabled individuals
Familiarity with dementia care strategies to support residents with memory challenges
Experience working with individuals with disabilities to promote accessibility and independence
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures in a healthcare setting
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently and hygienically
Robust communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to caregiving
