Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for daily menu items
Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, workstations, and storage spaces
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
Serve meals efficiently to guests or staff while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Help with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Follow all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for everyone
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
Basic knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail
Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation practices
