Pro-Zones is looking for a full-time Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team.

This position is responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of vehicles, loaders, small engines, plow trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, and other equipment within our fleet. This role is key to keeping our fleet in safe, reliable, and compliant operating condition, supporting smooth day-to-day operations throughout the year, with a robust focus on snow season. The ideal candidate brings robust mechanical skills, attention to detail, and experience maintaining fleet vehicles and heavy equipment in a rapid-paced environment.

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance
Perform maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, trucks, pickup trucks, plow trucks, trailers, small engines, and other fleet assets
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and complete mechanical repairs as required
Maintain and repair loaders, snow removal equipment, and other heavy equipment
Support fleet readiness and reliability for snow operations
Identify mechanical issues and recommend repairs or replacement of parts and equipment

Preventive Maintenance




Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Perform routine inspections and servicing of vehicles, equipment, and small engines
Monitor equipment condition and flag repairs or replacements as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records

Safety & Compliance
Follow safety standards, manufacturer requirements, and regulatory obligations
Ensure vehicles and equipment remain secure, roadworthy, and operational
Support inspections, audits, and corrective actions as required

Qualifications
Certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician/Mechanic or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience
Experience with loaders, heavy equipment, plow trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, and small engines
Experience with snow removal, landscaping, construction, or fleet maintenance is an asset
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
