Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property standards, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with property management software, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Property Manager will play a key role in enhancing tenant satisfaction and optimizing property performance.
Duties
Manage tenant relations, including addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Oversee leasing processes, including showing properties, processing applications, and negotiating lease agreements.
Utilize Yardi and other property management software to maintain accurate data entry, rent collections, and financial reporting.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate repairs as needed.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and managing correspondence via phone and email with professional phone etiquette.
Maintain effective communication with tenants, vendors, and staff to facilitate smooth operations.
Assist in marketing vacant units through sales strategies and customer relationship management techniques.
Collaborate with maintenance teams using CMMS systems to schedule repairs and track work orders.
Prepare reports on occupancy rates, financial performance, and maintenance issues for senior management.
Qualifications
Licensed Condominium Manager (RECA – Alberta)
Proven experience in property management
Familiarity with Yardi is highly preferred.
Strong administrative skills including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
Excellent customer service skills with skilled phone etiquette.
Knowledge of property management practices, including maintenance coordination and tenant relations.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
Prior experience with CMMS systems is a plus. This position offers an engaging work workplace where organizational skills and customer service excellence are valued highly.
Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
