Duties
Operate mixing machines and other production equipment to prepare food ingredients according to specified recipes and standards
Assist with packaging finished products, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the process
Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, supplies, and finished goods within the production area
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor production lines for proper functioning, identify mechanical issues, and report any malfunctions promptly
Follow all food safety protocols and document quality checks during each shift
Support food processing activities by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills and adhering to standardized procedures
Qualifications
Prior experience in food manufacturing or processing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of packaging procedures and equipment operation is a plus
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills are beneficial for maintaining equipment performance
Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hire
Solid understanding of sanitation practices and food safety standards in a manufacturing setting
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, portioning, and inventory management
Positive physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
