We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) to work alongside our experienced registered physiotherapists. You will play a vital role in delivering hands-on exercise guidance, setting up therapeutic modalities, and supporting our patients throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Implement prescribed exercise programs under the supervision of registered physiotherapists
Set up and monitor therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, TENS, heat/ice, and laser therapy)
Guide patients through secure, effective strengthening, stretching, and mobility routines
Track patient progress and communicate objective clinical observations to the supervising physiotherapist
Maintain tidy, sanitized treatment cubicles, exercise equipment, and clinic inventory
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Diploma from an accredited Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA/OTA)
program or Degree in Kinesiology / Health Sciences
Strong verbal communication and empathetic patient-care demeanor
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, cooperative outpatient rehabilitation setting
