Become a Crisis Response & Education Facilitator with Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. Respond to crises in child-serving organizations and lead violence prevention education programs.
This full time temporary position aims to provide immediate crisis support and develop essential life skills for children. You will assess and deliver trauma-informed responses in schools and community centres. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and delivering specialized training are core components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to crisis inquiries from child-serving organizations
• Conduct needs assessments with a trauma-informed approach
• Deliver crisis response sessions, both virtually and in-person




• Provide consultation on child abuse and trauma-informed practices
• Establish partnerships to enhance crisis response services
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Experience with crisis intervention for youth and families
• Proven teaching or facilitation skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and inclusion practices
• Ability to develop safety plans for high-risk situations
