AtkinsRéalis seeks a self-motivated and detail-oriented Piping Supports Design Engineer. In this role, you will conduct stress evaluations of piping systems and prepare engineering documentation. Your expertise in codes like ASME Section III and substantive software tools will be essential for analyzing nuclear and non-nuclear piping supports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform stress evaluations per ASME codes • Model piping/support arrangements using finite element techniques • Prepare technical documents and engineering drawings • Review technical documents and 3D piping models • Support field construction activities as necessary
Requirements: • Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Civil & Structural • 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience • Knowledge of CSA B51, ASME B31.1, B31.3 standards • Proficient in stress analysis software (PipeStress, Cesar II) • Must be eligible for Skilled Engineer registration in Ontario
