Kickstart your health and science career and gain hands-on laboratory experience supporting cutting-edge diagnostic testing in a fast-paced medical environment. Part time role that's outstanding for current or newly graduated students with a lab science major.

SALARY: $18.00 per hour

LOCATION: Vancouver, WA

SCHEDULE: Part-Time, Mon+Fri+Sat, 8-hour shifts with start time between 9:00 AM–11:00 AM; Temp to hire

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and test requests into the laboratory information system.
- Receive, sort, organize,



and route specimens for laboratory testing.
- Review specimens to determine appropriate processing or disposal.
- Scan requisitions and transport specimens to the appropriate laboratory departments.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Experience performing high-volume, accurate data entry; 10-key experience and average typing speed 40-50 WPM with high accuracy.
- Comfortable handling biological samples and fluids. (Bagged and in containers)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Outlook and Windows OS.
- Experience working in a lab is a plus but not required.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a lab science or currently pursuing a degree in a lab science.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, repetitive computer work, and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs.
