Drive collaboration and protect interests as a First Nations Liaison with BCER. This role requires building relationships with First Nations groups to support oil and gas exploration.
As the First Nations Liaison, you will provide technical advice regarding BCER programs while promoting industry investment in responsible resource management. Your expertise will contribute to consultations, negotiations, and mediation processes, fostering agreements between First Nations and corporate investors. This is a permanent full time role based at any BCER location, with a generous compensation package.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent BCER and support First Nations' rights
• Provide technical advice on oil and gas programs
• Conduct consultations for project-specific agreements
• Negotiate and mediate between stakeholders
• Advocate for Crown interests in resource development
Requirements:
• Experience with First Nations relations
