Support vulnerable individuals at SLCS’s HART Hub as a full time Housing Finder. Your role involves connecting clients with permanent housing while collaborating with diverse community partners.

As a Housing Finder, you'll be part of a dedicated team at the HART Hub, providing assistance to clients facing homelessness and addiction challenges. You'll utilize your solid communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of the housing market to build relationships with landlords and conduct housing searches. This role emphasizes a trauma-informed approach while maintaining a housing stock portfolio, ensuring compliance with local bylaws and advocating for clients in real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with participants and assess their housing needs
• Conduct thorough housing searches and maintain landlord relationships




• Ensure compliance with bylaws and building codes for housing units
• Prepare and maintain statistical data to identify housing trends
• Collaborate strategically with community partners and co-workers

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education or relevant work experience
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act and local housing market
• Experience in social services, sales, or marketing
• Valid G Class Driver’s License and reliable vehicle access
• Intermediate First Aid & CPR certification
