The Board is currently seeking Electrician-General Tradesperson to join our energetic team. The General Trades Person (Electrician) is responsible for performing skilled electrical work to ensure that school board facilities are safe, functional and well maintained. Working within a unionized setting, this role is responsible for installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations and service requests in accordance with collective agreement provisions, board standards and applicable health and safety and regulatory requirements and codes.
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a commercial or institutional setting.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Secondary School Diploma

Registered member in valuable standing with Skilled Trades Ontario as an Industrial (442A) or Construction (309A) Electrician

Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license

Salary $38.35 hourly includes a comprehensive benefit package
