About the Role

Our client, a vital non-profit organization serving disadvantaged youth in Kimberley, requires an experienced Finance and Operations Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day operational efficiency of the organization, ensuring smooth administrative processes and resource management. This role is crucial for the sustainable growth and effective delivery of our youth development programs in the Northern Cape, offering a significant leadership opportunity within a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage the organization's annual budget.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management and the board.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including audits.
- Manage organizational operations,



including facilities, IT, and administrative support.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and operations, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing administrative functions and operational processes.
