Make a meaningful impact as a Long Term Occasional Teacher for Grades 1 and 2 at the Ottawa Catholic School Board. This role provides coverage for a teacher on leave.
The OCSB is looking for qualified candidates who are in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers for this long-term assignment. This position is vital for nurturing students’ educational paths while adhering to Catholic principles. Applicants must successfully complete Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective instruction for Grades 1 and 2 students
• Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment
• Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess and evaluate student progress and needs
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Requirements:
• Valuable standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Completion of Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
• Previous classroom experience is preferred
