Build the light. Design the brains behind it.

We're looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer who wants to own hardware from first sketch to shop floor — designing the circuits and controllers that power the next of LED lighting fixtures and DC-DC LED drivers. If you'd rather be at the bench with a soldering iron and an oscilloscope than stuck in a review queue, this role is built for you. What you'll do

You’ll design and develop PCBs and circuits for LED fixtures and drivers, then bring them to life with controllers built on the latest STM32, Atmel, TI, and other industry-standard microcontrollers. You’ll build the test fixtures and write the procedures that make sure what you designed actually works — bed‑of‑nails rigs, hardware test plans, wiring and assembly documentation the production floor can run on. You’ll get your hands dirty building and testing prototypes, reviewing PCB layouts with contract manufacturers, and chasing down the right parts with sourcing. Beyond your own bench, you’ll be a go‑to technical resource — for engineering peers and for the people downstream who depend on your work. You’ll work alongside software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to see projects through, document what you find and build along the way, and help keep the lab and component libraries organized enough that the next person can pick up where you left off.

Occasional international travel (about 5 days a year) comes with the territory.

This position is on‑site and located in Rochester,Vermont. What you bring

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering 3-5 years of relevant work experience Hands‑on comfort with Altium Designer or similar schematic capture tools Real soldering, assembly, and debugging chops — not just simulation experience Experience with microcontrollers and firmware development Background with DC-DC converters, LED drivers, or related power hardware Bonus points for machine vision familiarity (OpenCV and similar) or 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks or equivalent) You're analytical, but not precious about it — you'd rather test an assumption than argue about it. You communicate clearly, work well with a cross‑functional team, and don't need someone looking over your shoulder to stay productive and organized. What's in it for you

Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Paid holidays, vacation, and personal/sick time Retirement plan with company match Real support for professional development and continuous learning Flexible hours in a genuinely collaborative setting If you want to see your circuits go from a napkin sketch to a lit‑up fixture on a production line, we'd like to talk to you.
