EAP Construction seeks a Journeyperson Scaffolder for upcoming projects starting early 2026 in Calgary. Ideal candidates will excel in scaffold assembly while prioritizing safety and teamwork.
This skilled role at EAP Construction will focus on commercial, industrial, and civil projects. As a Journeyperson Scaffolder, you'll be responsible for ensuring scaffolding systems are erected and dismantled in compliance with safety regulations. The position supports established scaffolders as well as 3rd and 4th year apprentices eager to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Erect, modify, and dismantle various scaffold systems
• Ensure compliance with CSA standards and specifications
• Follow safety practices and fall protection procedures
• Conduct Task Hazard Assessments with the crew
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Scaffolder Certificate or proof of hours
• Required safety certifications including H2S Alive
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in varying conditions
• Solid teamwork skills and proactive attitude
• Capacity to assist and mentor apprentices
