This role supports Community and Family Services to deliver essential Christmas support. You'll be crucial in processing, sorting, and preparing food and toy donations for community distribution. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and local travel for pickups as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and sort donations of toys and food items
• Assist with community pickups of donations using program vehicle
• Set up and take down distribution centers for Christmas hampers
• Record statistical data accurately and clearly
• Support during the Kettle campaign as needed
Requirements:
• Completed High School or equivalent
• One year of community-related experience preferred
• Robust Microsoft Office skills and internet proficiency
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License
• Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs safely
