Support children and youth through community programs with Somerset West Community Health Centre. Engage in educational programming and foster development from newborns to 18 years old.
As a Casual Worker for Children and Youth, you will report to the Manager of Children and Youth Services and implement programs that meet the needs of children and their families. Your focus will be on building capacity and promoting health within the community. You will have the chance to work in various locations while contributing to a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure program safety measures are always met
• Deliver engaging programs for cognitive and social development
• Maintain client files and monitor attendance
• Provide updates to parents as necessary
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers on programming
Requirements:
• Experience working directly with children and youth
• High School Diploma or post-secondary education
• High Five Training is an asset
• CPR Level C certification required
• Fluent in English, French is a plus
