Become the Electric Utility Operations Supervisor for the City of Penticton, B.C. Drive operational excellence and safety while supervising a dedicated team of technicians.

In this permanent full time role, you'll report to the Manager of Energy & Workplace and ensure the safe execution of electrical operations. Key tasks include supervising Meter & Traffic Technicians and Powerline Technicians, enhancing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Beyond day-to-day operations, your leadership will shape workforce development through training and performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise Meter & Traffic Technicians and Powerline Technicians
• Implement and improve operating safety programs
• Conduct regular field inspections for compliance




• Complete annual performance reviews and coaching
• Assist in recruiting and training operational staff

Requirements:
• Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification required
• Experience supervising electrical field crews
• Robust knowledge of electrical distribution systems
• Proven leadership and coaching skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands
