The Haskayne School of Business seeks a Sessional Instructor for Winter 2027 to teach FNCE 469/FNCE 669. Engage students in hands-on finance education and investment evaluations.
This role involves teaching a combined section of FNCE 469 and FNCE 669, running classes weekly on Fridays from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM. Ideal candidates will have an MBA or equivalent, previous teaching experience, and familiarity with digital education tools for both face-to-face and online learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach financing concepts for early-stage companies
• Guide students in evaluating investment opportunities
• Facilitate team-based investment recommendations
• Oversee writing and presentation of investment reports
• Participate in quarterly Investor Review Meetings
Requirements:
• MBA degree or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience teaching FNCE 469/FNCE 669
• Familiarity with online teaching tools like Zoom, D2L
• Preference for face-to-face instruction experience
• Must be based in Alberta
