The Low Carbon Energy Coordinator will support the Sîpihkisôwin (Resilience) initiative, assisting Métis citizens in navigating renewable energy applications and energy-productive upgrades. In this role, you will address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and connect citizens with cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the implementation of effective low-carbon energy initiatives across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary liaison for program applicants
• Assist in completing and submitting application forms
• Communicate with applicants via phone, email, and in-person
• Review applications for compliance and completion
• Update the program’s database with accurate applicant information
Requirements:
• Diploma in environmental studies or related field
• Minimum five years of program delivery or client services experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Understanding of Métis contributions to B.C.
