Technical Project Manager - Healthcare Technology (FHIR) Our consumer business client is seeking 2 x Intermediate Technical Project Managers (5+ years) to lead healthcare data migration and interoperability initiatives using FHIR, and Agile/Scrum
Join a major healthcare technology transformation initiative focused on centralizing healthcare data and enabling FHIR-compliant interoperability across a complex enterprise ecosystem. This role leads delivery across healthcare data migration, application integration, and technical transformation workstreams involving APIs, interfaces, and enterprise applications. The program includes large-scale migration efforts connected to critical healthcare data platforms and front-end reporting environments with accelerated delivery timelines through 2027 and 2028.
Start: ASAP
End: December 2026, with extension
to December 2027 and beyond
Location: Brampton or North York, Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite preferred, with flexibility
Must Haves
6+ years managing
enterprise technology
or
healthcare IT
initiatives
Technical delivery leadership across
healthcare data migration ,
application integration , and interoperability programs
Experience with
FHIR ,
HL7 , or healthcare interoperability environments
Experience using Jira, Confluence, Agile/Scrum, integrated project plans, and RAID logs
Proactive, persistent, self-starter personality; comfortable in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Nice to Have
Experience with Ontario Health or similar healthcare technology environments
Responsibilities
Lead delivery for assigned healthcare technology and data migration workstreams
Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones,
and dependencies
Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, business, development, QA, and stakeholder groups
Manage healthcare data migration and integration initiatives across multiple applications and platforms
Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and decision-making forums
Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, and blockers through RAID management
Translate technical information into clear business-level status updates and communications
