Your Impact at Platform
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning,administering, and implementing training and onboarding programs. This roleensures that all new colleagues receive consistent, high-quality training onsystems, tools and procedures to support operational excellence within thefirm. We are looking for professionalswho want to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a solid learningculture and a focus on overall development.
- Plan, administer and implement training andonboarding programs ensuring all new colleagues receive consistent andhigh-quality training on systems, tools and procedures including Epic, CSR24, Suretysystems, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, and other Office 365 products
- Perform skills gap analysis to determinetraining needs of new and existing Platform colleagues with a report toleadership every six months highlighting trends and recommendations
- Identify &/or develop resources (ie. jobaids, checklists etc.) to help colleagues learn new technical skills &/orreinforce Platform protocols and procedures
- Work closely with the Operations team and hiringmanagers, review work completed by new colleagues on a regular cadence (weeklyis suggested)
to ensure compliance with documented procedures with in theirfirst 30 days
- Complete assessments using evaluationmethodologies and tools that measure the impact of successful knowledgetransfer from internal training programs.
- Develop and maintain effective communication topromote learning and development initiatives to increase awareness of new andexisting procedures, protocols and workflows
- Coordinate and lead more in-depth lunch andlearns to enhance colleague skills on internal processes
- Ability to travel to other Platform officelocations across Canada
- Participate in monthly Epic Committee meetingsand ensure any takeaway tasks are complete
- Assist in monitoring and aiding colleague questionsin a dedicated team inbox
- Be present in the office a minimum of 3 days aweek
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Insuranceor Surety
- Advanced Knowledge of Applied Epic, MicrosoftOffice 365
- Knowledge of Surety systems is an asset
- Highly effective written and verbalcommunication skills
- Post-Secondary education preferred
- Training or presentation experience

Thisposting is for a replacement position at Platform. The salary range for thisposition is $70,000-$85,000.
