Join the Prince George Family YMCA as a Childminding and Recreation Staff member. This part-time role centers on ensuring the safety and development of children aged 3 months to 8 years old.
As part of YMCA BC, you will be responsible for nurturing and engaging children within a multi-services facility. Your role will include building positive relationships, maintaining a friendly workplace, and attending necessary meetings and training. A commitment to child safety and enjoyment is crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being during activities
• Build positive relationships to foster growth and development
• Create a friendly and welcoming YMCA experience
• Attend meetings and training as required
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor
Requirements:
• Current Emergency First Aid, CPR-C & AED certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Experience in a recreation center is an asset
• Access to reliable transit or a vehicle
