The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Personal Insurance Broker to join their personal lines team. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys providing thoughtful advice, managing existing client relationships, and delivering a high standard of service across all aspects of personal insurance.

The role includes servicing existing accounts, handling renewals, endorsements and policy changes, placing new business, and recommending coverage solutions based on individual client needs. This position also operates within a phone queue environment, so the successful candidate will be comfortable managing inbound client activity while maintaining solid responsiveness, accuracy, and attention to detail.

This is a remote opportunity that can be based anywhere in Alberta, with preference given to candidates located in Edmonton or Calgary. The role will align with the Edmonton office.

About You

You are an experienced personal insurance professional who enjoys working directly with clients and providing practical, tailored insurance advice. You are confident managing renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and new business while keeping client files accurate and organized.

You communicate clearly, build strong relationships, and are comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a busy service environment.



You are also able to work independently in a remote setting while remaining connected and engaged with the broader team.

Necessary Qualifications Include

- Ideally 5+ years of personal insurance experience
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products and services
- Ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Experience with renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and new business
- Strong client service and account management skills
- Organic sales experience considered a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working within a phone queue environment
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting
- Proficiency with insurance systems and Microsoft Office
- Alberta Level 2 insurance licence preferred
