This full time role involves maintaining camp facilities for the Waasigan Transmission Line Project in partnership with Chi Mino Ozhitoowin. The ideal candidate will possess several years of maintenance experience and robust troubleshooting skills.
You will work independently, handling various tasks including preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and emergency responses to ensure a safe and functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site-wide building maintenance and assigned projects
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot plumbing,
electrical, and mechanical issues
Support the operation and upkeep of camp utilities and appliances
Document maintenance activities and coordinate with departments
Requirements:
Several years in a general maintenance technician role
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
Valid G/Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
Strong problem-solving skills with independent work capability
Personal transportation for travel to departure hubs
