As a full-time Clinical Specialist, you’ll work closely with the Director of Long-Term Care to provide vital clinical support. You will engage in clinical education, medication preparation, and communication with LTC stakeholders. This role includes daily travel and prospects for qualified growth within a patient-centered company.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconstitute injectable medications for patient care
Provide clinical support to physicians and LTC staff
Manage inventory of essential medical supplies
Counsel patients and caregivers effectively
Communicate with various stakeholders in healthcare
Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
Deliver medical education to LTC staff
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN or LPN) in Alberta
Willingness to obtain dual licensing in British Columbia
Experience in the long-term care setting preferred
Must reside in Alberta for the commute
Highly organized with the ability to work independently
