Modernise the data platforms that feed the regulatory capital calculations of a major Canadian bank: data integration, RWA, credit, market and operational risk. Permanent role with Abbeal, Montreal hybrid.

A major Canadian bank is modernising the data platforms behind its regulatory capital management. They need a senior data engineer to design and optimise the flows that feed these calculations.

What you will do
Design, build and optimise data integration solutions for regulatory calculations
Work with credit, market and operational risk data and risk-weighted assets (RWA)
Ensure data quality, lineage and processing performance
Work with risk, finance and architecture teams

What we are looking for
Senior data engineering experience in banking or finance
Advanced SQL, data integration and transformation tools
Knowledge of Basel III/IV or regulatory capital is a robust plus
French and English
Downtown Montreal, hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
Permanent contract with Abbeal, 12-month assignment at the client
