Make a difference as a Part time Direct Support Skilled in Adult Supported Group Living Services. We're seeking compassionate individuals to provide personalized support and care for residents.
In this part time, permanent role, you will commit to up to 70 hours per pay period, fostering skill development and community inclusion. Tasks include financial support, medication management, and implementing Individual Support Plans. It's a flexible position that requires availability across various shifts, ensuring residents get the quality care they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with task assignments under Team Lead direction
Aid clients in financial planning and tax preparation
Develop and implement Individual Support Plans and Person-Centered Plans
Facilitate weekly medication setups and reconciliations
Conduct home inspections for compliance
Requirements:
High school education or equivalent
2-year Community College Diploma or relevant experience preferred
Experience in social services with developmental disabilities is an asset
Valid G driver's license and police clearance required
Strong organizational and communication skills needed
