Pathways to Independence is seeking four Casual Counsellors to provide essential assistance to adults facing brain injuries. As a Counsellor, you will craft and facilitate individualized support strategies in line with each client's Quality-of-Life plan (QLP).
Collaborating with the client's support team, you will help build vital skills and foster independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support services to individuals with brain injuries
Maintain accurate client documentation and records
Foster a positive workplace within the support team
Resolve conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism
Advocate for client rights and needs
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in human services field
Completion of an approved Pharmacology Course
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Experience working with adults with brain injuries
Proficiency in documentation and communication
