Under the direction of a Supervisor, the Library Page role involves various physical maintenance tasks. You will shelve and organize materials, conduct inventory, pull items for withdrawal, and set up rooms for programs. Engaging with patrons, you will also be responsible for minor cleaning duties and ensuring equipment is maintained appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort, shelve, and shelf read library materials
• Conduct inventory of collections regularly
• Empty bins and pack labeled outgoing bins
• Set up rooms efficiently for library programs
• Assist with minor cleaning in public areas
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 education
• Ability to organize materials both numerically and alphabetically
• Physically fit to handle job requirements
• Solid customer service orientation
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
