Job Description

- Manage a caseload of mass tort and environmental litigation matters from inception through resolution.




- Conduct legal research and factual investigations involving environmental exposure and liability.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and legal memoranda.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, experts, and litigation support teams to develop case strategy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and co-counsel.
- Analyze complex factual and legal issues while developing innovative litigation strategies.
- Maintain deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple active matters.

Qualifications

- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of litigation experience.
- 2+ years handling air contamination, water contamination, fire cases, environmental litigation, toxic torts, or comparable complex litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience with discovery, motion practice, and case management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative litigation environment.
